*11th at 10 a.m.-Leona from Between the Lions will be here to help us kick off our 2010 Summer Reading program...Books and Beyond Under the Big Top! Meet Leona, have circus cake, and register for this summer reading circus extravaganza. Summer reading will be every Friday in July at 10 a.m. with cool programs each week, stories, crafts, and a finale circus with jumpers, popcorn, cotton candy, and more!
*16th from 3-5 p.m.-Happy Hour celebrates all things summer...front porch swings, cold lemonade and flip flops.
18th-Teen Scene Teen Summer Reading event-After Hours @ The Library. Movies, food, and fun from 5 p.m. until midnight! Enjoy watching Twilight and New Moon based on the young adult books by Stephenie Meyer, before the premiere of Eclipse. Students in 6th through 12th grade are invited. Which team are YOU on?! Team Jacob or Team Edward.

*Books and Beyond Under the Big Top Begins!!!
*2nd-Rachel Sumner will be singing and dancing and taking everyone on a wild circus parade! Enjoy this edutainer and her interactive program.
*9th-Magician Justin Chandler will make our circus disapper! Justin will delight young and old alike with his illusions and magic tricks. And all while inspiring young people to be readers.
*16th-Voices of the South drama group from Memphis will perform their awesome play, Wilhelmina Millicent's World of Imagination! See what Wilhelmina and her BFF get into in this fun performance.
23rd-Kindermusik program with Angela Chasse from The Dixie will start our day and it will end with circus stories and crafts with Ms. Susan! We'll draw for some prizes this day so you don't want to miss it!!!
30th-It's a circus party like you've never seen! There will be a circus jumper and great circus food like hot dogs, popcorn, and cotton candy. There will be games and MORE prize drawings for reading and attendance awards. And our special guest will be Olivia the Pig!!!! She's bringing her wardrobe and can't wait to meet you all.
7th-Ice Cream Month will be celebrated at Happy Hour from 3-5 p.m.

*4th-School Starts Back! Watch for details on our annual back to school party.
*17th-Happy Hour from 3-5 p.m. will showcase living thrifty ideas! Cool crafts, shopping, and fun ideas for less money!

*21st-Turn off Your TV Week Happy Hour from 3-5 p.m. There are lots of things you can do instead of watching TV, we'll have a list for you!
*23rd-Fall Programs Begin! Watch for details in the paper and on our Facebook page. Preschool Story Hour meets at 10 a.m. on Thursdays and After School Adventurers meet at 3 p.m. on Thursdays. This year's theme is One World...Many Stories. You'll learn all about the world around you and the far off places and people, that make up our diverse lands.
